1. Can you help me choose flowers for a specific occasion?

Absolutely, our specially trained staff know the right flowers to get for all kinds of occasions, whether it's floral arrangmenets for a funeral, flowers or centerpieces for a wedding, bouquets for the holidays (like flowers for your Christmas tree), or even corsages and boutonnieres for prom.

 

2. How should I care for my flowers to make them last longer?

There's a lot you can do to make your flowers last longer, especially changing their water frequently, using florist's flower food or making your own, and keeping your flowers out of direct sunlight (most of the time). If you want more details, we wrote a great article about this exact subject!

 

3. What flowers are in season right now?

4. Can I customize my flower arrangement?

That's what we do best! Meridian Floral offers some of the best custom flower arrangments in Idaho, great for any event, or even just as a gift for her or him. Take a look at our Designer's Choice or give us a call and tell exactly what you have in mind.

 

5. Do you deliver, and what is the delivery charge?

Not only do we offer Boise flower delivery, Meridian flower delivery, and even flower delivery in Eagle, we can do it same-day, even on a holiday! Deliveries start at $12.99 and are kept cool the whole way.

 

6. Can you work with a specific budget?

We can work with any budget you have, even if you only need a cheap floral arrangement for an informal occasion. Our special Designer's Choice is perfect for finding flowers on a budget, since the florist gets to exercise their creativity without going over your price range. We have Designer's Choice selections at multiple price points, so you can pick the one that works for you.

 

7. Are you able to replicate a floral design I found in a photo?

We like to get creative at Meridian Floral, so if you send us a picture of a bouquet we will do our best to replicate it. We'll try and give you a quote ahead of time, but keep in mind that the price could be different from what you're expecting.

 

8. Do you offer wedding/funeral/event floral services?

We absolutely can make any arrangements or bouquets needed for a formal occasion. For funeral flowers we often make sets of standing sprays, and we have an article about how to choose flowers for a funeral. We are also happy to do weddings, and can create simple table certerpieces or large flower arrangements for an altar. For weddings, we often request at least 2-3 months notice so we can order and organize everything properly.

Meridian Floral is also partnered with a number of funeral homes in the Treasure Valley, and we are working on an article that talks about whether hospitals accept fresh flowers.

 

9. Can I pick up my bouquet any time?

As the operators of the only drive-thru florist window in Idaho, we're here to tell you that you are welcome to pick up your bouquet whenever is convenient for you. We'll keep it nice and happy until you get here. We recommend coming the same day that you receive notice from us so that your arrangment stays as fresh as possible.

 

10. What is the difference between a bouquet and an arrangement?

There isn't a big difference between a bouquet and an arrangement, except that an arrangement has been designed with a vase in mind. We talk more about it here, as well as which you should choose for a gift and when.

 

11. How far in advance do I need to place an order for a special event?

For wedding, we require at least 2 months, but ideally 3 months of notice, as weddings often require larger and more elaborate pieces, or at least more of them. For funerals, we prefer to have at least a week notice, but we can produce certain arrangements sooner. For all other events, like parties and business events, contact us with the details as soon as you are able and we will tell you how much time is needed.

 

12. What are the business hours at Meridian Floral & Gifts?

Our business hours are Monday-Friday, 8am to 6pm. These hours change for major holidays. We're always closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Thanksgiving Day, New Year's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day, but we can deliver on major holidays other than Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. To help assure on-time delivery during the busy holiday season, it's almost always best to place your order at least 1 day prior.

 

13. Can you meet outside of business hours?

Appointments after hours are available upon request, but we only do these for consultations on weddings and funerals, or for other large events.

 

14. Does Meridian Floral allow returns or exchanges?

We're happy to accept returns if you talk to us first and tell us about the issue. We can exchange a bouquet if it dies too soon, or if it wasn't what you ordered, and we can offer returns for the same reasons.
